We place a high priority on your comfort and satisfaction at our community-focused practice. In order to accommodate your work and school schedules, we do offer late evening appointments on Wednesday, and some Saturday appointments, so that you do not need to miss time from work or school to receive dental care.

Dr. Anthony Engle is a caring, experienced dentist with a wealth of knowledge and compassion. Dr. Engle grew up in Birmingham and attended Samford University. He graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1999. Since then, he has dedicated himself to continuing his education to stay at the forefront of modern dentistry and has completed multiple courses in oral sedation, Invisalign® and dental implants, including the world renowned Misch International Implant Institute. He is a member of the American Dental Association, and Alabama Dental Association. He is also a faculty member of Molis Coaching, an online coaching and training program for Invisalign that boasts over 4,000 general dentists worldwide. He has even participated in research with the Invisalign company. Dr. Engle enjoys spending time with his wife and their five children.
When he is not treating patients, he enjoys traveling, hunting, and fishing, all with his family. Dr. Engle was a 40-year church member at Dawson Baptist and is now a member at Church of the Highlands. He routinely gives back to his community and to others in need, through dental mission trips to Honduras, Venezuela and Ecuador as well as numerous Habitat for Humanity projects. Dr. Engle is firm in his faith and owes all of his talents and success to his Savior, Jesus Christ.
Dr. Anahat Chugh is a general dentist at The Dental Office of Moody. She earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Manipal College of Dental Sciences before completing her DMD at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she graduated with honors. She went on to complete a certificate program in Restorative Dentistry at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Chugh is passionate about dentistry and deeply committed to her patients. Comfortable treating patients of all ages, she strives to create a safe, welcoming space where people feel genuinely heard and cared for. She believes exceptional dentistry goes beyond technique, and that trust, empathy, and treating the whole person are just as essential. Her practice includes fillings, crowns, dentures, extractions, root canals, and pediatric procedures. She takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and financial circumstances, working with them to identify the treatment plan that best fits their situation, and often follows up personally after more extensive treatments.
Dr. Chugh is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She is fluent in English, Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu.
Outside the office, Dr. Chugh enjoys spending time with her husband, Dr. Brandon Edney, a psychiatry resident, and their two dogs, Teddy and Bear. She loves experimenting with new recipes and baking bread in the kitchen, and enjoys long neighborhood walks with her family.
